Courage, Connection & Stepping Into the Unknown

Hello and welcome to my very first post eek :)

I thought I would write as this year feels different for me.

There is a quiet courage being asked of me, and maybe many of us, to step into something new that puts me out of my comfort zone and into a deep space of unknown, which I usually love but this feels different.

I am creating a new space alongside the horses. A space for people to slow down, reconnect, and find their way back to themselves. It feels really exciting, and at times a bit unsettling and scary all at once. :) Writing my thoughts feels like this too.

What grounds me, time and again, is connection.

Connection with the one another. Connection with the herd. Connection with the land. So i feel it is time to start to share my thoguhts.

Horses have a way of meeting us exactly where we are. They don’t ask us to explain ourselves or to be anything other than present. Their sensitivity, steadiness, and attunement invite us to pause, breathe, and listen, not just to them, but to ourselves.

So much of wellbeing is not about fixing or striving. It is about remembering. Remembering who we are beneath the noise remembering that we don’t have to do everything on our own.

For certain tradition this year carries the energy of the Fire Horse often associated with courage, momentum and freedom. The Fire Horse speaks to moving forward with heart and instinct, not force. It feels deeply in tune with how I want to work, live and create this space, alongside the horses and the land and the people who want to use it.

I hope this will not be for just one group or one experience it's about offering people strength, connection, and the belief that they can meet change whether through life transitions, caregiving, loss, or simply the quiet question of what now?

My hope is that this space becomes one where people feel safe to arrive as they are. To be. To connect. To grow in their own time.

If you are feeling the pull toward something new, uncertain, or quietly calling, you are not alone. Sometimes courage begins simply by standing still and listening.

This is the beginning of a new chapter for me, for the herd, and for those who feel drawn to walk alongside us.
