How...
It Started with Lu offers experiential learning and self-discovery both face to face and online. Each session is facilitated by an experienced and accredited equine life coach who will hold space for you alongside the herd who in turn will help you explore your true feelings and values and get curious about who you are and who you want to be.
Equine Facilitated Transformational Life Coaching is for you if you want to make a change. There is no riding involved and no previous horse experience is necessary.
Our herd currently consists of 3 equines and is based in Bayford in a natural 8 acre setting. The horses live as naturally as possible taking their individual health requirements into consideration. We are currently working on our small indoor space aka ‘Dolly’ a 1965 vintage caravan, however most of our sessions take place at liberty in the field with the horses.
It Started with Lu is facilitated by me, Sachelle Mansour, the human in the group. I am a fully accredited Transformational Life Coach with the Association for Coaches and qualified Equine Facilitated Transformational Coach.
I am a mother of four and grandmother of one and have had the pleasure of experiencing the magic of horses for more than 50 years. Throughout a traumatic childhood, horses were always my safe space, and looking back, I realise I took their spirit for granted. This changed in my 40s when Lulu came into my life and helped me think and feel differently. This inspired a journey of self-exploration and released emotional layers that were deep within me, and this inspired me to learn about how I could help others rediscover themselves and now I am ready to share the magic and help others on the local community find their wings. We work alongside various coaches and other health professionals and can sign post where needed. We can offer a limited number of sessions for those who are unable to fund themselves, just head over to the contact page with details and I will help if I can.
